PROJECT NOVELLA is an initiative of UNILEVER in partnership with GTZ, DFID, Oxfam, PNI, RUFARM, RRDC, FRIN, ICRAF and many others to empower forest communities through trade in Allanblackia seeds collected from the rain forest of Nigeria.

Project Novella is presently been implemented in Ghana, Tanzania and Nigeria. Project Novella was launched in Edo State, Nigeria, on the 5th of April, 2006. It is the first state to implement the project in Nigeria.
